Backyard Renovation

For this Gresham backyard, we created a complete transformation from the ground up. We started with site prep and grading, then built a Belgard paver patio with connecting pathways, a curved seat wall, and gravel walkways framed with steel edging. We added natural touches with inlaid basalt boulders, a vineyard trellis, and raised vegetable planters to mix beauty with function.

To make the space easy to maintain, we installed a 452-square-foot Evergrass, synthetic turf lawn, and upgraded the irrigation system with new drip zones for beds and planters. The planting design brought in a mix of evergreens, flowering shrubs, ornamental grasses, and edibles for year-round color and interest. We finished the project with fresh bark mulch and decorative river rock to tie everything together.

The result is a backyard that balances structure and softness, creating a functional, durable, and low-maintenance retreat that fits the homeowner’s lifestyle.
