John Lynch Residence | Hardscape Renovation

Valley West Landscapes revitalized the front entry of this Portland home with a comprehensive hardscape renovation that encompassed the entry landings, staircase, and cheek walls.

Our team began by carefully protecting existing plants and synthetic turf to preserve the surrounding landscape. After removing the original tile and mortar, we prepped the concrete surfaces to create a clean, stable foundation for the new finish.

We installed natural Variegated Bluestone flagstone in a random pattern to achieve a timeless, hand-crafted look that enhances the home’s architectural character. Both cheek walls were resurfaced with a polymer-modified concrete finish, then stained and sealed for a natural, weather-resistant appearance.

To complete the transformation, we fine-tuned the grading and alignment of the surrounding turf and pavers for a seamless, professional finish. The result is a cohesive and durable entryway that blends refined detail with everyday functionality.
